Finding your way

Opt for progress over perfection

“What’s behind you isn’t in front of you” (author unknown)

Whilst this may sound an obvious and trite statement, I think it also speaks to how we can sometimes lose sight of what’s ahead by being overly focused on the past.

“Surrender all hope of a different past” Another quote (author unknown)

Remembering past events can help us avoid situations that felt unpleasant or mistakes.  Knowledge can help shape how we want to move forward.

If you have gotten to a point in your journey where your road seems to have come to a point of uncertainty or you realise you want a change of direction then talking therapies can help decipher your map and clarify your next destination.

I am a compassionate and qualified trauma support counselling therapist.  I work with clients who have experienced loss, life change or challenges that feel disorienting.  I have worked with clients looking to find a more rewarding life by changing unhelpful or unwanted habits including behaviours such as self harm, alcohol or substance use and behaviours that are causing relationship problems.
